With the holiday season literally upon us, now is a good time to start thinking about gifts! Today I compiled a list of a few of my favorite “teacher” gifts that are under $20 from Cost Plus World Market. I hope this shows you that you do not have to break the bank to say thank you to all of those teachers that invest in your children’s lives each school day!

You may think that I am just a mom and blogger, but I actually teach piano and violin 20 hours a week. Two days a week I teach at Southern Magnolia Montessori school and then Monday-Thursday afternoons have students that take private lessons in my home. Between juggling mom life, keeping up with the house, blogging and teaching, my plate is full but I would have it no other way. My little students keep me laughing and up to date on all the pop culture in the world! There is no better way to feel old than to chat with them and realize you have no idea about some of the things they are talking about!

As a teacher, each holiday I am showered with various gifts. Regardless of what the item is, the fact that they remembered ME during the business of the holidays means the world. These fabulous World Market gifts range from $9-$19. I would LOVE any one of these and I know the teachers in your children’s lives would too! The gorgeous gold mugs are on my shopping list this year, as well as those cozy slippers! When it comes to gifts, remember it really is the thought that counts, so say thank you to a TEACHER this season!
