Embroidery is one of the hottest trends this summer season. Today I want to share 3 of my favorite ways to incorporate embroidery into your wardrobe. Embroidery does not have to look like your great grandmother’s pillow cases. (Anyone remember those?!) I love the detail that this trend adds to any item, whether it is a purse or a top. Some of you might think that embroidery is a little boho and not you but I hope by the end of this post you will see otherwise! 🙂
1. Obviously an embroidered tunic is an excellent place to start. This light blue tunic has the prettiest flowers of orange and yellow embroidered on it. The color combinations in this piece are gorgeous and this top is only $31. I find that most embroidered items are expensive so make sure to snag this one at this affordable price!
2. If you do not want to go too bold on the embroidery trend, try throwing on a pair of embroidered espidrilles. I have seen multiple cute pairs this season with flamingos, lemons, and flowers. Any of these pairs would dress up a white and tee and jeans kinda day. I have those days a lot right now! 🙂
3. If you are really feeling like branching out, why not try a pair of embroidered jeans? I recently was browsing around Anthropologie and saw such a cute pair. In the past I have been on the fence about this trend, but I have to say that I was tempted to snag a pair. Once we move might have to take the plunge. I’m trying to steer clear of buying anything else! 🙂
With summer now in full swing, why not try to incorporate the embroidery trend into YOUR wardrobe? You only live once so it can’t hurt to be a little adventurous! 🙂 I hope you all have a great 4th of July! We will probably keep it low key and pack boxes. Doesn’t that sound like a blast?! XO
