Apple picking season in Upstate New York has been something I have been looking forward to since the moment I found out we were moving. I have always been slightly jealous of all the gorgeous fall pictures I have seen each year of the stunning apple trees in their glory. In Louisiana, we simply cannot wrap our minds around a legit fall. Apple picking season screams fall ya’ll. It was just as fun as I imagined and I cannot wait to go back. George was in heaven picking up apples from the ground and eating them. He loves his apples. 🙂
There are so many gorgeous farms here in Ithaca where you can pick your own apples. Cornell even has an orchard across from the school where you can stop by and purchase different varieties along with apple butter, maple syrup and other fall favorites. Indian Creek Farm is a local spot that is close to Ithaca but seems miles away when you visit. This farm is the perfect spot to pick your on seasonal produce. They have over 60 varieties of apples. I had no idea there were so many types! The apples we picked made the perfect apple cream cheese coffee cake! Apple picking season in upstate New York is truly magical!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope your Wednesday is beautiful!
