Hallelujah! It reached above 60 here yesterday and today is supposed to be mid-60s. Do I dare hope that spring is near?! Even if it is a short lived warm snap, it totally has me in a spring mood. I have decided to break up with winter officially and move full on into the new season.
Speaking of spring, why not add color to your wardrobe?! This vibrant yellow sweater is just the item to beat those winter blues. According to Vogue, it is officially one of the top colors to wear this spring. Thinking back on my time in New York for fashion week in the fall, the runways were full of lovely pastels and vibrant hues such as yellow and red. These are the tones you want to strike for spring. Yellow has always been one of my favorite colors and I am a big believer in recycling an outfit. You can catch the cute bow blouse in a previous posts here and this bright yellow sweater a few years back here. Truly what goes around comes around and that is why I hold onto many of my pieces for a few years. Trends always seem to come back!
If you are hunting for a good spring bootie to wear with your spring dresses, look no further. I wrote last week about how much I love Vionic shoes and this is their bootie for spring. It is comfortable and the perforated leather will keep your feel cool on those warm spring days. I cannot recommend this and their shoes enough. They are worth every penny.
