Happy Monday beauties! I hope your weekend was lovely! We so enjoyed time as a family as we visited the farmer’s market and walked the Cornell Campus on Saturday. It was a gorgeous day to be outdoors. I find it very entertaining when I hear people complain up here of it being hot. Because 78 in the summer ain’t that bad! 🙂 I’m sure most of your Louisiana friends are dreaming of temps like that right now! I promise I am not trying to rub it in. 🙂
A few weeks back I mentioned that I wanted Mondays on the blog to be Mom Mondays. Since we are finally settled, here I am ready to start this new series. Blogging is beautiful because it grows with you in life. This mom season requires a lot of thought, hands on activities for G and prayer. A lot of prayer! It is amazing how a tiny human being can really push your buttons some days. G and I were having a lovely morning last week as he was eating his yogurt. He started to point to the refrigerator and say something I could not understand. Suddenly in frustration he threw his bowl of yogurt on the floor and started crying. I was so surprised at his little outburst and told him he had to clean it all up. He did, those little hands wiping up yogurt with a paper towel made me want to laugh, but of course I tried to be serious and explain that behavior was not acceptable. So yeah, they can push your buttons.
Today I wanted to share my toddler schedule with you moms out there. I operate so much better when I know exactly what we are doing. Since last week was our first week with Chris in school I thought it was the perfect time to introduce this routine. It worked beautifully and the 2 hour naps most of the week were what dreams are made of! I am still coming to terms that my little baby is not so little anymore. Pinterest has been a great source inspiration as far as new activities we can do. But that is another post for another day. I hope this toddler schedule helps you. If you fabulous moms have schedules that work for you I would love to hear it!
6:00 – 6:30 – G wakes up (I wish he would sleep in a little later!)
6:30 – Show Time and I make my coffee and try to squeeze in my devotional time in this slot!
7:00 – Breakfast/Get Dressed
8:00 – Morning Walk/Outdoor Time
9:00 – Daily Outing (I have to get out of the house once a day normally! It helps break up the day. Some of these outings are parks, Barnes and Noble, Play groups, Errands, Doughnut stop, Museums, splash pad)
10:30 – Back Home and play time in room.
11:00 – Lunch and Book Time
11:30 – 1:30 – NAP TIME
1:30 – Snack and Show Time
2:00 – Park Time (We live down the street from a park)
3:00 – Afternoon Activity (Playdough, Waterbeads, Cooking with mom, coloring – We save all these for this time of day. Makes it a bit more special!)
4:00 – I start prepping dinner and G hangs out or is playing by himself
5:00 – Bath time
5:30 – Family Dinner
6:00-7:00 – Play time with Dad and Bed time.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great week.

First of all what a beautiful boy! Second, thank you so much for this! I think I mentioned on social media how much trouble I have with schedules and to top it off I just found out #2 is on the way!
