The table is the heart of the home. There are so many stories and laughter that are shared around it. Holidays, specifically Christmas bring loved ones together to share memories from times past and create new ones. No host neglects the table for Christmas dinner. A lot of time and thought goes into creating a gorgeous table setting to share the special season. Cost Plus World Market has gorgeous dinnerware options, goblets and decor to create the most magical Christmas tablescape for any idea you might have! This year Brandi Milloy has created 3 tablescapes with Cost Plus World Market to showcase the sparkle of the season. See her fabulous video below to get ideas for your Christmas tablescape.

No Christmas would be complete without children laughing and running down stairs to see what Santa left for them! Between the shrieks of delight and squeals of joy, Christmas morning may just be the best morning all year. For me as a parent, I cannot wait to show George just what Christmas morning means now that he is 2. I have a feeling he will get it this year! 🙂 After the presents are all unwrapped, there is Christmas breakfast to be eaten. My mom always made a big breakfast casserole and cinnimon rolls for Christmas morning. I hope she does the same this year when all of us kids are home for our first Christmas together in a couple of years.

Today, I wanted to share a easy children’s Christmas tablescape idea with you! There is nothing I love more than decorating for Christmas and this easy setting can be thrown together in minutes. The most adorable Christmas dinnerware sets the mood for this table. I am in love with this enamel set that has vintage vibes. George has immediately taken to the cups and insists on drinking his milk out of them each morning when I am having my coffee! Each setting is marked with a cute little chalkboard with the child’s name. You may even want to place chalk be each setting for the children to play with during the meal. The little chalkboard can be taken home as a little momento for the occasion. What child doesn’t like to play with chalk?!

For the centerpiece, I used Cost Plus World Market’s gorgeous linen table runner. I love the farmhouse vibes this runner provides. It is perfect for the rustic dinnerware. The most adorable wood and wool trees anchor the center of this table. The set includes 3 which can be used together or scattered around your home. If you are looking a kid friendly Christmas look than you will definitely want to purchase them! My New York friends can find them at the Chelsea World Market! To finish this setting I placed the wool deer set in the middle along with the trees. Every child is sure to love these adorable creatures! Clipping a few evergreen branches in my backyard was the perfect way to fill in the gaps and add texture to the table. If you do not have a tree like this in your yard, check local Christmas tree stands for clippings.

I hope this gets your wheels turning on creating a memorable space for your littlest guests this Christmas season. Thank you so much for stopping by!
