Whew, ya’ll all I can say is that I am worn out after these last two weeks! Last week I filmed a video with Vera Bradley in New Orleans on a Girl’s Guide To New Orleans. It was an absolute blast to plan and be a part of. Originally the video was set to film in Charleston, but had to be moved here because of the storm. I literally had 3 days to get a complete day around New Orleans planned. If you have ever been to the city, there is so much to do and so many aspects to the city that could have been shown. To narrow it down and especially choose the right restaurants to feature was harder than I thought! I cannot wait to show you the video in a few weeks.
This week I planned George’s first birthday. It was a small family affair. Saturday was such a gorgeous day that we were able to sit outside and celebrate our little man. He is completely intrigued with all of his new toys and smiles so big when we push him in his Little Tikes police car! Watching him grow up this past year has been the most life changing experience. I’m trying to hold onto each moment. With that being said, the last two weeks have been super fun, but I am looking forward to hopefully a normal week! I told my husband the other day, I want to go check into a hotel for the weekend alone and sleep all weekend. Any other mom’s with me! 🙂
