This adorable hostess Easter basket would not be complete without these fabulous chocolates from Godiva. I literally want to eat all of them! Easter is the perfect time to gather with friends and family and celebrate the sacredness of the day and the arrival of spring. This hostess Easter basket would definitely be something I would love to receive.
When it is time to host a lunch or dinner, I tend to stress myself out. Everything has to be clean, in it’s place and perfect. That is a tall order when you have a one year old! By the end of the day, I am ready to relax and get off my feet. What better way to do that than with a box of chocolates and hot bath.
This decadent spring collection of Godiva chocolates are simply a chocoholic’s dream. I mean, you have favorites like dark chocolate and caramel, a coffee, and cookie dough chocolate. There are even non “chocolaty” ones like lemon and peaches and cream. They are all simply divine.
I stocked this basket with items that I know will bring a smile to any hostess’ face. The Earl Gray Tea is one of my favorites and so calming. If you pair a cup of tea with a hot bath, I say that is a match made in mommy heaven. Lush is always my go to place to buy bath bombs. They have the best smells and add a touch of luxury to your bath. I also love a good candle. No other candle compares to the Capri Blue. If you want your home to smell like Anthropologie, then this candle is calling your name. For a little extra touch, I wrapped a pretty floral scarf around the top in lieu of a bow. The scarf adds color and gives the hostess something to wear. I think it adds that unexpected special touch.
This hostess Easter basket really is the easiest basket to throw together. It is thoughtful and something your hostess would truly enjoy. If you try anything from this post, treat yourself to those Godiva chocolates! Happy Friday everyone. Have a great weekend. XO!
