A few years ago, I decided to ‘detox’ my makeup bag and strive to buy natural products. Today, I wanted to share my Juice Beauty review on a few of the products that I love. Juice Beauty is Gwyneth Paltrow’s beauty and skincare line. While she might recommend various natural treatments that raise eyebrows, I can definitely say that I am a fan of this 100% organic line.
I wanted to highlight a few Juice Beauty products that I have enjoyed using and give you my honest feedback. Finding makeup that is natural but that also works well is tricky. I have used Tarte for years. While I continue to use their products, I always love trying new makeup! Juice Beauty uses organic apple, grape and lemon juices in their formulas. Each of these powerful antioxidants improve and promote your best skin. None of the products are formulated with fillers such as petroleum glycols. That means each drop you use is feeding your skin with healthy ingredients like the ones I mentioned above.
Skin Care:
GREEN APPLE Age Defy Moisturizer: Let me first say that I love the scent of this moisturizer. It isn’t heavily scented, but smells fresh and clean and I swear I smell the apple juice in it! I have used this consistently for a while and love the feel of intense hydration that it provides. Formulated with Vitamin C, this moisturizer is sure to give you the results you are looking for. I highly recommend snagging this one to get your skin summer ready!
GREEN APPLE Peel Full Strength: I will be honest, I was a little hesitant about using this peel at first. I have never used a peel and when I read that it makes your face red after using, I got nervous! It took me a few weeks to summon the courage to use this little powerhouse! 🙂 It definitely makes your face red post using, but let me tell you that it leaves your skin so SOFT and BRIGHT looking. After 30 minutes the redness went away. It is not uncomfortable to use although there is slight tinglng involved. If you have sensitive skin there is a special peel just for you!
STEM CELLULAR Exfoliating Peel Spray: The part that I LOVE the most about this product is ease of use. If I am feeling lazy and do not want to go to the trouble of using the peel I mentioned above, this little guy is right there ready to help this momma out! You simply spray it on your face, use a soft cloth or your hands to gently buff the area and then rinse away with warm water. This spray has removed the harshness of winter from my face and has given me my dewy skin back! I LOVE this spray!
Makeup:
PHYTO-PIGMENTS Illuminating Primer: This is a gem of a primer. I love it’s illuminating powers! Under my foundation it gives my skin that dewy glow that we are all looking for. I really cannot say enough how much I love this primer. Knowing that it’s not full of fillers and nasty ingredients like most primers makes me want to use it that much more! If there is one makeup product that you try from Juice Beauty, I would recommend this!
PHYTO-PIGMENTS Last Looks Cream Blush: This is my first cream blush that I have ever used. I have to say that during the winter months it has really helped my skin look healthy and hydrated. Powder blush looks harsh during the cold month because of dry skin and less humidity in the air. I love that this blush stays put and is a natural flush color for my skin. I am wearing Seashell.
PHYTO-PIGMENTS Luminous Lip Crayon: I love lip crayons and this beauty did not disappoint. If you are looking for the perfect pinky nude I cannot recommend the color Carmel enough! This crayon kept my lips moisturized and is my new go to!
PHYTO-PIGMENTS Ultra-Natural Mascara: Ok, for the sake of honesty, I really wanted to love this mascara because of how much I LOVED all the other products. The first time or two that I used it, it was ok. But after the 3rd or 4th time it dried out super fast and just wasn’t easy to apply.
