Taco Cups

There is nothing I love more than meal time with my family. When I make an easy meal, I love it that much more! Making dinner is one of those things that my mom ALWAYS did. I like to think it is a way to show a little love to your family by going the extra mile to put something yummy on the table. A family dinner is a chance to catch up on the day and for us to listen to George say all of his favorite words. George is obsessed with anything containing cheese, so these taco cups filled with beans, beef and lots of melted Borden® Cheese were right up his alley. He might have gotten just as much on his clothes as he did in his mouth!

These taco cups are just the recipe to turn to when you are in a time crunch. You can fill them with whatever taco ingredients you love. I kept mine basic with browned turkey, refried beans and sour cream. I topped it with my favorite Borden® Cheese Finely Shredded Mild Cheddar Shreds and Borden® Cheese Sharp Cheddar Shreds. This cheese is so full of flavor and perfect for these taco cups. These little cups would be the perfect appetizer for your next party! You can easily have sides of diced avocado, salsa, jalapeno slices, and green onions.

I found my Borden® Cheese at my local Walmart, but check out this store locator to find Borden® Cheese near you!

Taco Cups:

1 pound of ground turkey
2 tbsp of chili powder
1 tsp of cumin
½ tsp of salt
1 cup of refried beans
½ cup of sour cream
1 cup of Borden® Cheese Finely Shredded Mild Cheddar Shreds and Borden® Cheese Sharp Cheddar Shreds
4 tortillas

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Brown your meat and drain the grease. Add your chili powder, cumin and salt to the browned meat. Mix together the beans and sour cream.

Cut your tortillas in squares and push them down into a muffin pan. Bake them for 10 minutes until crunchy.

Fill the baked cups with the meat and bean mixture. Top with cheese and bake for 10 minutes.

Serve with your favorite toppings.
