Happy Labor Day ya’ll! I have rounded up a few of my favorite toddler boy Labor Day sales today. This past weekend, I went on a shopping spree for George. I realized when it was 40 degrees here that George was down to 2 pairs of pants that fit. Well I solved that problem this weekend. Old Navy, Gap and Janie and Jack came to our rescue. I think G is pretty much stocked up now. The only things I have left to buy is a snow suit, mittens and boots. This weekend is such a great time to stock up a basics like long sleeve tees and sweat pants for your toddler boy. If your child is anything like George, they need lots of comfy clothes that they can rough house and run around in. I tend to buy more sweatpants and long sleeve tees than anything during this season. Labor Day is also a great time to buy for next year. There are so many good summer options that are heavily discounted.
I hope your weekend has been relaxing. After Chris stayed out studying last week every night till 11:00 it has been nice to spend some family time. Yesterday we visited our first apple orchard. (More pictures of that adventure to come!) Let me tell you, I have never seen such a pretty sight. The trees were loaded down with gorgeous red, green and yellow apples. We picked up a giant bag and a homemade apple pie is on the menu this weekend. Ithaca has no shortage of amazing produce this time of year. The farmer’s market is full of greens, potatoes and fresh fruit during this season. I have to say that I am getting spoiled.
