This criss cross sweater is the must have sweater for spring. The front detail is just one of my favorite things about this sweater, not to mention that it pairs perfectly with leggings! #momwin I love this white criss cross sweater with contrast of super dark skinny jeans. It was just the outfit to wear, as we strolled up Oak street in New Orleans. There has not been much of a spring here in Louisiana. These temps feel closer to summer. It really is a bummer that we can barely wear long sleeves for 2 months out of the year. 🙁
Last week, I had so many of ya’ll ask me questions about the striped blouse I wore in this post. I wanted to chat a little about the company I bought it from and give you a few things to keep in mind when you order from them. The company is named Shein. Think of it as a Chinese Forever21. The clothing is dirt cheap and the quality for honesty’s sake can be less than impressive. That being said, I have learned a few tricks in shopping with them. First, I ALWAYS look at what type of material the product is made from. If it is made from cotton, it typically is good. If it is all polyester, I tend to stay away from it. Second, definitely look at the measurements. A few things I have ordered have been alot smaller than I anticipated. Typically when I use their measurements, I find the clothing to fit nicely. Third, have low expectations. This is no designer store so do not expect it to look and fit like that! I go into each season looking for fun, trendy things that I can wear for the season and then give away the next. The clothing is soooo cheap that it is perfect for this. As a mom, I know that more often than not I will get food or dirt on my clothes so I really just do not want to spend alot of money each season on nice items. One day hopefully I can! 🙂 #momlife
