Happy Monday! Today I thought it would be fun to round up a few of my favorite Columbus Day sales under $100. I gravitate towards lots of basics. This year, I am building my first winter wardrobe and am on the hunt for items that can be worn together and layered on. These flannel shirts below have my name written all over them. They are too cute and so perfect to pair with your favorite sweater. Fall dresses are also having their moment this year. There are so many pretty floral prints that look cute paired with a bomber jacket or moto jacket. I love the look of a flirty fall dress with a heavier jacket and booties. There is just something about that look that I cannot get enough of! When I visited NYC for fashion week I paired this Loft dress with my favorite suede jacket for a day of sightseeing. It could not have been a more comfortable outfit to walk all around the city in. I think I was the only one of the crew to wear flats and let’s just say my feet thanked me!
What are you looking for in your fall closet? Durability, cuteness, timelessness? It is important to think about these things before you shop. For me it is functionality. I want to look put together this year but know that I need to buy items that will get me through cold weather. As a mom I gravitate towards durability because with a toddler I need to be able throw anything I own into the wash! 🙂
