Gray Master Bathroom Inspiration

Gray Master Bathroom

Happy Thursday friends.  These posts are few and far between nowadays but I wanted to share my gray master bathroom inspiration with you all today.  I had so much fun looking on Pinterest and choosing similar options to what you see here in this gray bathroom setup when we visited the Toll Brothers Design Studio.  Gray has become a favorite neutral color in my book the past few years.  I love the calming effect it has and the fact that it is a neutral color that is still a color!  As much as I gravitate to white cabinets and walls, I wanted our bathroom to have a color to set it off.  For me, gray and white offer a subtle but buildable palette to incorporate any other color you would want.  For me, I love a light, french blue paired with these 2 neutrals.  Blue will pair perfectly with me wanting to bring in a few coastal touches to our Florida home.

For our gray master bathroom, we went with gray cabinets and quartz countertops that blend a few taupe tones, white and gray all together.  The polished tile that we picked our also picks up on those colors and we brought the same floor tile up all the way up for the master shower as well.  The floor tile will be a herringbone pattern as it is a narrower tile and the shower will be a larger version of the tile in a classic brick pattern.

For the faucets and showerhead, I went with a matte gold faucet.  It is a little less flashy than a polished brass look and I think will pair well with any other metal that we mix in.  I’m definitely gravitating towards touches of gold in our gray master bathroom for the lights over the vanities the bench you see in the collage as well as bathroom accessories.  I LOVE the luxe touch that gold brings to this master bath!

We chose not to put a tub in our master bathroom.  I definitely have mixed feelings about it but I knew I didn’t want a built-in tub and the free-standing tub option blew our budget up lol!  Next time that is on my list though! 🙂  Right now at this season, I really don’t take the time to get a tub bath so it doesn’t bother me too much.

None of the bathrooms I have ever lived with have been updated so I’m just so excited to get in here and enjoy one that is fresh and new!  This week they are pouring the slab for our home so it finally feels real! 🙂  More updates coming soon.
