I mentioned in yesterday’s post that we hit up the beach last week. The weather was simply too good to stay indoors. It got me thinking about spring break plans for everyone. I feel like spring break was canceled last year due to COVID and I know so many of you are itching to hit the sand and the waves. Regardless of your spring break plans this year, hopefully, these warm-weather picks will get you excited about a new season and hopefully enjoying the outdoors where you are. I know for me as a mom, if I can get the kiddos outside in the afternoon EVERYONE is much happier!
Let’s start off with the basics, flip-flops. Whether you wear them to the grocery store or just poolside, everyone needs a cheap pair that they can throw away at the end of summer. While this brand is more expensive than say a Target straw bag, you will have this bag for more than one summer. There are so many styles to choose from that anyone can find one to fit their taste. I love a good straw beach bag because they clean easily at the end of the day and sand doesn’t get stuck inside! Another accessory that everyone needs is a great pair of shades. If you are like me, I hesitate to spend a bunch of money on sunglasses. I’m always afraid I will lose them or the kids will break them. Le Specs makes cute shades that are fashion-forward but practical in price and if by some chance the style goes out by the next summer, you are not out tons of money. There is sure to be a frame to fit every face shape out there.
