Today I thought it would be fun to round up a few of my favorite Beautycounter products especially since they are running a fabulous Labor Day promotion right now. If you have not heard of Beautycounter, they are a cleaner, safer, environmentally friendly beauty brand I began using their products over a year ago and have grown to love them. Beautycounter does not just want to get cleaner beauty products in people’s hands they also want to change the beauty industry by lobbying for laws that promote cleaner products and more regulation on what we are putting on our bodies. As a mom, I can totally get behind this. Have you ever thought as you put on your lotion what you are slathering all over yourself? I know I started wondering that and began to look for alternatives. Beautycounter is a one-stop-shop for all your beauty needs. From shampoo to soap to makeup to skincare they are you and your entire family covered, ( yes men and children too!). Beautycounter Counter + Lotus Glow Cleansing Balm – this cleanser just got an upgrade and while I haven’t tried the newest version I am obsessed with the original. I can only imagine how amazing the new version is. If you have ever wanted a product to literally melt your makeup off while moisturizing your skin, this is your product. I do not use the product every night but a few times a week. It really makes your skin super soft and cleanses your skin like no other product I have tried. Remember to put a small amount onto your dry skin and work it in with your fingers. Then grab a soft warm washcloth and gently rub in circular motions to work the product into your skin. Rinse with warm water.
One other skincare item I cannot live without is the Counter + Overnight resurfacing peel. This peel is magic in a bottle and is great even if you have sensitive skin. I love that I can put it on after I get out of the shower and leave it on overnight. I’m lazy so if I don’t have to wash something off that is a plus! 🙂 My skin literally glows after I use this product and cannot recommend it enough!
Another product I love is their Color Intense Lipsticks. These shades are pigmented perfectly and the formula just glides onto your lips. 2 of my favorite colors are Garden Party and Beautycounter Red (the perfect orangey-red shade!). Head on over to check out this safer lipstick option.
If you are on the hunt for a great fall eyeshadow palette look no further than the Velvet Eyeshadow palette -Classic. The rich copper, gold and brown hues are just perfect to welcome in a new season. There are so many great eyeshadow combinations that you can create with this palette. If there is one item you try, try this! It is very comparable to the high-end popular eyeshadow brands out there but much safer and cleaner.
One line I have not tried since it is so new is the Countertime line. It is a clean anti-aging line that features Bakuchiol which has been shown to provide skincare results similar to using retinol but a much safer alternative. Even you pregnant ladies can use this line! I have read so many great reviews on this line and look forward to trying it out!
It is hard to narrow down all the Beautycounter products I like but those are a few.
