A few months ago I was introduced to Beauty Counter. As I was researching clean beauty products I kept running across this brand. One of my long-time Instagram friends was kind enough to send me various samples to try before I took the plunge and cleaned out my makeup bag.
A week ago I posted about my journey into clean beauty. As a blogger, I feel like it is kinda my job to try various brands and introduce them to you, my audience. I, for one like to have options, and frankly, I prefer certain products from one brand over others. Just know, whatever I recommend, I have tried extensively before recommending it to YOU!
Beauty Counter was founded on the idea that beauty should not be bad for you. After all, as women we slather ourselves in various formulas daily. Have you ever thought about what you were putting on your skin? Beauty Counter is committed to NEVER using toxic, bad for your ingredients. There are over 80000 chemicals on the market in personal care products today. The sad reality is that the Food and Drug Administration does not have the authority to remove the chemicals in our makeup or other products that we are putting on ourselves and our kiddos every day. The majority of Beauty Counter’s products are natural and derived from plants.
Flawless in Five is a system of six products that take you five minutes to apply! Now that is something I can get behind as a mom! The products include Tint Skin Foundation (I love the lightness of this product!), a concealer pen, a brow pencil or gel (your choice), mascara (your choice between volumizing or lengthening), blush, and lip gloss. For $150 you can pretty much ditch and switch to safer cosmetics instantly! It is almost a $30 savings to buy as a bundle.
