With spring approaching hopefully in the next month or so, I have been reflecting on my first legit winter. I can honestly say that I am super thankful I chose to spend 6 weeks at home over the holidays. At the time I wasn’t sure if I had made the right decision. After being here for the last month I know I did. While the snow is always beautiful, I have a toddler and the cold days create a lot of LONG days indoors. George thrives on outdoor activities and the park is his favorite place. We have been able to get outdoors a few days in the past 2 weeks with the 60 degree weather we had and that has made me all the more ready for consistent warm weather. We really are not sure where life will take us after Chris finishes the program here at Cornell, but I hope somewhere warm! It really is a completely different way of life of here that takes a lot of adjustment!
