Happy Wednesday ya’ll. Today, George and I are flying to go see my parents for the weekend. I could not be happier to be going back home for a few days. It seems like we have been here longer than a month and a half! While Ithaca is beautiful I am excited to enjoy my mom’s cooking for the weekend and see 2 of my siblings. At the end of the day, family means everything to me. I hope after this season of life that we will end up a little closer to everyone.
Speaking of family, you really do not realize how much you miss them till you are sick. Chris and I came down with the stomach virus Monday night and let me tell you, yesterday was miserable trying to keep George happy all the while trying to rest when I could. I have a new found appreciation for my mom who I know worked tirelessly through sicknesses taking care of us. Going to Grandma’s house for a few days is just what the doctor ordered! 😉
Ya’ll fall is nearly here. I could not be more excited to officially welcome this new season.
