Hey hey friends! I finally made it back to New York this week. Ah, it feels so nice to be out of a suitcase and back to a normal schedule. So far there is no snow on the ground as it melted the day I arrived. I am sure that will change all too soon! 🙂
Bold stripes. What is not to love about a statement making sweater, t-shirt cardigan or dress?! I have seen this pattern jump out this season in a fun more statement making way. While subtle stripes will always be in vogue, the fun bold stripe print is a good way to change up the patterns in your closet.
When wearing a bold stripe keep your other pieces simple. There can only be so much action going on! I like to pair this pattern with a neutral tone. Think jeans, a classic simple colored bag and traditional shoes such as flats, booties or mules. If you opt for a striped skirt, keep your top understated. My bold striped sweater is from Vici. For spring, I cannot wait to add rainbow striped hues to my closet. There is nothing like throwing off winter and celebrating with bright tones. I am in love with this adorable rainbow cardigan here. How cute would that look with denim shorts or over a chambray dress?! Can it be spring already?
