Tuesday Talk: Brownie Edition

Since I entered the blogging world over 4 months ago, I have had so much fun and it has really gotten my creative juices flowing. I have wanted to blog more and to incorporate lifestyle posts and videos into the blog. So with that in mind, I went out and bought a good camera and have taken a lesson from my good friend Erin as to how to use it! With that being said please bear with my photos as I learn photography 101 over the next few weeks!

On Tuesdays, I am starting a series called Tuesday Talk and this will be a post about what I want to talk about. It could be related to fashion and style or it could be a lifestyle/recipe post like today.

For this first post I wanted to give you a recipe that is certain to become a favorite if you are a chocolate lover like me. I feel like women and chocolate just go together! This brownie tart is the best recipe for a brownie I have ever made. It’s soft and chewy and tastes like a boxed mix except it’s not! Let me know if you try it and what you think.

Enjoy.

**Brownie Tart**

*Serves 8*

6 Tbsp of unsalted butter
3 1/4 cup of semisweet chocolate chips
3 Extra Large Eggs
1 Cup of sugar
1 Tbsp of instant coffee granules
1/2 tsp of pure vanilla extract
1/2 cup of all purpose flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp of kosher salt
1 cup of chopped walnuts
Heavy Cream

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 11 inch tart pan.

Melt butter in sauce pan. Once the butter is melted, add 2 cups of the chocolate chips and stir until melted. Set aside and cool completely.

With an electric mixer fitted with the paddle, beat the eggs, sugar, coffee and vanilla on medium high speed until light and fluffy around 3 minutes. Stir in cool chocolate.

Combine flour, salt, 1 cup of chocolate chips and baking powder in a separate bowl. Fold this mixture in with the chocolate mixture until just combined.

Pour into pan and bake for 35-40 minutes until center in puffed (the top may crack).
The inside will still be very soft. Cool and serve with the homemade whipped cream.

Enjoy!
