This comfortable plaid tee was the perfect thing to wear as we wondered the streets of NOLA last Saturday. It is super soft and pairs perfect with your favorite jeans. My husband remarked that I should wear tees like this more often! I guess I can over think my outfit sometimes. Perhaps the saying less is more really does apply to fashion from time to time!
With that being said, I literally hibernated all weekend in PJ’s because of the cold front that came through on Friday. Seriously, I have no idea how you guys that live in cold states stand it! It is not for the faint of heart. I brought G outside yesterday and he had the best time picking up all the ice on his water table and sucking on it! Poor kid his hands were ice cubes when I brought him inside. In typical Louisiana fashion, it should be back into the 70’s by mid week!
We are one week into the new year. How are you doing on your goals? I am slowly getting into rhythm with mine. Reading to George before bed is probably the easiest and my favorite! We are reading a 365 day Bible story book each night, along with Llama Llama Red Pajama, and Good Night Little Love. Those last 2 I can probably recite in my sleep. 🙂 My goal to meal prep was also easy this weekend. I prepped egg cups, peanut butter balls, shepherd’s pie and white chicken chili. I am hoping all of this will last us through much of the week. Since am starting back work tomorrow I wanted to be over prepared for the week nights.
