A few weeks ago, thanks to my mother in law, George and I were able to get a few Mommy & Me pictures done. The talented Karen Londato photography took these precious pics and I could not be more in love with them! George was not the happiest little fellow to have his pictures taken, but with patience and lots of tickling we got through it!
My sister and I were talking today about how much our love has grown toward our children. You think you know what it is to love them at birth, and in a way you do. The more though you spend time with them and learn their little personalities you fall more in love with them! George’s personality is definitely shining through now! He is a vocal little guy and his favorite words are ‘whoa’ and ‘wow’ right now! Too cute. Even last night when I shattered a dish on the floor he looked at me and said ‘wow’! 🙂 I had to laugh. He loves chasing after the vacuum as I clean the house and is the most affectionate with his Winnie the Pooh. I can always count on Pooh to bring a smile to his face.
Like clock work every evening he begins to point towards the door whispering da-da. He will take off towards the door the minute he hears Chris drive up! If Chris even dares to try to put him down he hangs on in protest! He loves his dada! As Christmas approaches this weekend, I cannot wait to soak up the time with G. He might not actually get the idea of presents this year but the wonder I see in his face as we look at Christmas lights is enough to bring the Christmas magic into our home! I am so thankful to God for another amazing year. He has blessed us richly with our little man!
