Happy September y’all. I can hardly believe we are 9 months into the new year! Where does time go?! Today I thought it would be fun since fall is just around the corner to round up a few of my favorite fall pants for the 2019 season. These pants are perfect for now and later. Here in FL, it is hard to find pieces that work for now, but I think these are good options!
First up are these drawstring chambray pants from One Teaspoon. If there has ever been a pant that is comfy but also so versatile it is these pants. They do run a bit big so make sure to size down. I am wearing an XS for reference. I love that I can easily wear these pants now with a tank top or short sleeve blouse but also swap those options out for a lightweight sweater. You can easily wear sneakers with them or dress them up a bit with booties when the temps drop. They are a bit of a splurge but y’all I am obsessed with them. Actually I am obsessed with anything drawstring these days. Since I had my surgery, it often hurts to wear anything tight about my stomach. Hopefully that will be a side effect that goes away in time but for now, drawstring options are my best friend!
One of the biggest trends of this new season is animal print. The runways have rocked everything from snakeskin to the timeless leopard print. Pants are a fun way to wear this trend. I am obsessing over these comfy yet chic pants from Denim x Alexander Wang. Wearing a printed pant calls for a bit of a simpler top in my opinion. I would opt for a short-sleeve sweater these days or a tailored blazer later.
As the holiday season approaches, one pant that every closet needs are a good black pant. This is as timeless and as essential as a little black dress. A good black pant that fits great can take you from the office to a holiday party in no time. These gorgeous pants from Theory are my favorite! They remind me of what Audrey Hepburn might wear.
