Well if you have wondered where on earth I have been, in addition to the surgery I had over the summer, this is one other reason I have been MIA! This pregnancy has been different in that I haven’t been able to lay around as I did with George. Having a 3-year-old to chase around while getting through the first trimester was fun, to say the least. All in all, though, we are so so excited about adding to our family and are thankful God has entrusted us with this little life due in March 2020. George is especially excited to be a big brother.
This week at my 15-week ultrasound, we found out we are having a GIRL! Boy, you should have seen the look on Chris’ face! It was priceless! George has been saying all along that it was a girl and that is what he wanted so I am super happy he gets his sister. For me, I was shocked a little! After having a boy and being completely smitten with him, I was fully prepared to embrace another boy. Having a girl will mean I have a buddy to do girly things with and the more I think on that the more excited I become. I am grateful that we get to experience having both!
