OTK Boots with The Closet Crush

Today, I am so excited to be teaming up with Alina Gavrilov of the blog, **[The Closet Crush](http://www.theclosetcrush.com/)** to bring you two looks featuring the highly popular Over The Knee boot trend this season or known simply as OTK boots! Alina, has a great classic style and I knew she would style her boots perfectly like she has done here. Over the knee boots are perfectly worn with skinny jeans/pants and Alina’s chunky sweater and hat are the perfect complements to this trend. Make sure to check out her blog for more of her fabulous looks!

OTK boots have gotten a bad rap with references like tacky, risque or worse. But last year, and even more so this year, fashion has had a second say at this look and granted them another pass.

One reason I absolutely love this trend and specifically the **[Tory Burch boots](http://rstyle.me/n/pgfds7n3e)** I am wearing, is that it is a small statement that yields dynamic results. For me, it was important to find a pair that balanced taste and class with a little trend and a lot of flair. These boots, because they are not thigh high and hit right above the knee keep the outfit classy. I also love the fact they these can be turned down to create a riding boot look as well. It’s kinda like two pair of boots for the price of one.

I chose to style my OTK boots with this sweater dress from Loft and a cozy plaid scarf. Wearing the boots with the dress is another way to try the OTK trend.

The boots are definitely an investment. I caught them in September when Tory Burch had her Labor Day sale and was able to save a good little bit on them. I know I will get many years out of these boots and cannot wait to wear them more as the weather continues to cool down! Would this be a trend you would try? Have a super Wednesday! xo

The text in your article seem to be running off the screen in Opera. I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with internet browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to let you know. The design look great though! Hope you get the issue solved soon. Many thanks

I seriously love your site.. Pleasant colors & theme.

Would you make this site yourself? Please reply back as
I’m seeking to create my own, personal website and want to figure out in which you got this from or just the thing the theme is named.
    Thank you!
