There is something about the Easter season that just calls for those touches of spring lace. Whether your mom made your wear it on your Easter dress, or you just cannot get enough as a grown up, lace is so spring! I noticed that the temperature here on Sunday will be 43. Obviously, I will not be wearing much of anything lace this weekend. Bummer. I wore this gorgeous spring lace top last fall when I was in New York for fashion week. It paired so perfectly with these culotte pants. This was my FAVORITE outfit from my time at NYFW.
I think you either love culottes or hate them. They have personally grown on me as I have seen them styled in tasteful ways. I would definitely steer clear of the baggy and boxy ones and go with more of a tapered leg. When it comes down to choosing the right top, a tucked in blouse or cropped blouse is definitely the way to go. If you have a long shirt tail hanging out, you run the risk of looking frumpy! This gorgeous spring lace cropped blouse is one of my favorite purchases to date. It is perfect with highwaisted jeans, pants or skirts. The lace is ultra feminine and a gorgeous ivory color.
