Trader Joe’s Haul

Since moving to Florida, Trader Joe’s has quickly become one of my favorite places to shop.  I have always watched other bloggers do TJ hauls and show what goodies they found and always wished I had one close.  My wish was granted! 🙂 I have to say that I do not go each week but about every other week.  I am still in the process of finding new items that we all love.  Today, I thought it would be fun to show you what our family has been loving from Trader Joe’s lately.

First off, the produce is gorgeous.  I have grabbed a big container of these beautiful organic strawberries 3 times now.  They are the sweetest berry you will taste and are only $4.99.  That is a great deal.  This week, I also snagged a box of Georgia peaches and they have not disappointed.  I see a peach crisp in our future tonight!

Next up, Tuna Burgers.  I am always looking for easy lunch options for Chris and myself.  These cook in no time and are great on salads, buns or over pasta.  They are flavorful and great to have on hand when you are in a pinch! Keeping in the freezer section, I am obsessed with these vegetable spring rolls.  They have edamame, shredded tofu, carrots and cabbage inside.  You do not miss the meat with these guys.  They are totally satisfying and yummy.  I typically serve them with the vegetable gyoza that you see in the picture.  These dumplings are delicious and with a bed of rice and spring rolls, you can have a complete meal in no time.

Let’s continue the Asian trend for a second.  If you buy the spring rolls, you must buy this spicy peanut dressing.  You know how everyone always says there is that one item at TJ’s they have to have, well this is my item.  This dressing hits all the right notes with spice and flavor.  It is a must buy and pairs perfectly with the spring rolls.  The other Green Goddess dressing is just as good.  It is a thicker more pesto-like dressing.  I have been topping my pasta and roasted veggies with this and it is delicious.

For snack options, I snagged a container of this spinach Greek yogurt dip this week.  It has been hitting the spot each afternoon when I start to get hungry.  I really like that it is loaded with kale and spinach so you are actually getting some greens into your body!  Last but not least, these dark chocolate salted almonds are where it is at.  If you need a quick treat these will surely hit the spot.  I have to hide these from Chris or he will empty the container in one sitting!

I would love to hear what you like to buy at Trader Joe’s.  I am looking forward to continuing to find items we all love!
