3 Fall Jacket Trends To Try

Stylewaltz.com occasionally receives vendor/ brand sponsorships for mentioning their products and services.

When the weather begins to cool down, I don’t know about you, but a jacket is the first thing I reach for.  These 3 fall jacket trends will keep you cozy and stylish all fall.

The first trend that I have seen over and over again as the fall season approaches is the animal print, specifically the leopard print.  It is considered neutral by many of the fashion faithful and is one of my favorites if not my favorite print to wear during the cool months.  The colors are always just right to welcome in the autumn season.  This season, designers have designed blazers in leopard print. They are classic and edgy at the same time.  These jackets are great for office work and perfect dressed down with denim shorts, jeans or thrown over a dress.  Check out designers such as Joie and Nili Lotan for their fabulous leopard blazer designs.

Another fall jacket hat catches my eye this season is the plaid jacket.  Designers are creating various types of jackets with this bold pattern.  From utility jackets to topcoats, the plaid jacket is definitely one of the hottest jacket trends this season.  I love a plaid jacket paired with a simple white t-shirt and jeans for a day around town.  It is classic and never will be out of style.  Annie Bing creates a perfect combination of an oversized yet classic jacket.

The third fall jacket I am seeing so much of is the printed denim jacket.  It is a jacket that looks like the timeless denim jacket style but is printed with camo prints or animal prints.  It is a fun way to grab a casual jacket but elevate it a bit from the great but boring denim jacket.  Marissa Webb created a fabulous camo jacket while AMO created a fun leopard version. These style of jackets are great with dresses, skirts, shorts, and jeans.  The options really are endless!

What jacket trend are you most excited about trying this year?
