This buttoned down midi dress has been on repeat a lot this summer! It is the perfect airy dress to wear on those warm summer days! No complaints here about he warm weather. 🙂 I feel like after going through the winter months here in Ithaca, I have a newfound appreciation for grass under my bare feet and the sunshine on my face. There is something invigorating about soaking up these long summer days. I nearly find myself hyperventilating when I think that sweater season is just around the corner here. It may seem a bit dramatic, but seriously I have never wanted summer to linger as I do this year. I’m loving the summer dresses and shorts weather too much right now.
Speaking of sweater, the big Nordstrom Anniversary sale begins this week with early access and the thought of looking at boots and coats does not seem nearly as exciting as it did last year. However, I will be sharing a few of my favorite budget friendly brands for the Nordstrom sale on Wednesday. It is a great time to shop fall items at up to a 40% discount. I tend to go for a few basic pieces and look forward to seeing what they have this year!
Back to this buttoned down midi dress for a moment. This v-neck darling dress is made of all cotton with working buttons all the down. It does run small through the bust and waist and the fabric does not have much give so keep that in mind when you order! It would be the perfect nursing dress for all your moms out there with babies. Don’t even get me started on babies, my baby fever is at an all time high! 🙂 I will blame that on my 2 sisters who had babies recently and are the cutest, squishiest little things you ever did see. My husband has learned to just listen to me chatter on and on about how we need another baby, hehe. I don’t think he is convinced yet!
