Embroidered Summer Babydoll Blouse

Happy Monday y’all!  This embroidered summer babydoll blouse will keep you cool from date night to that backyard BBQ.  It might seem like a funny name for a blouse, but  the babydoll blouse or dress is one of the most forgiving styles you can wear.  Often it has a high neck, although not all the time.  Most of the time the “sleeves” are wider and in recent years has been a way to show off gorgeous embroidery.  It is flowy and accentuates all the right places.  We went out for a little family date night last Friday and I thought this pretty embroidered summer babydoll blouse was just the thing to wear.  It was comfy and allowed me to stuff myself with Thai food! 🙂 I am all about those loose forgiving tops when I want to indulge in my favorite cuisine.

I hope you all had a great weekend celebrating the dad in your life! We had a low key weekend and spent a lot of time outdoors.  Yesterday I cooked Chris his favorite Blueberry French Toast bake.  If you are looking for a breakfast that screams summer this is it.  Blueberries have somewhat of a short season so take advantage of using fresh ones for a little extra sweetness. 🙂 I am so grateful that George has such a good dad. Even after a long day studying or working Chris always nakes time to play. It has been sweet to watch him get extra attached to his “da-da” over the past couple of months. Becoming a parent has made me even more grateful for my own dad. It is funny how age makes you see things differently. All those times I thought he was too strict on certain things I totally get it now and find myself enforcing similar rules. Everything comes full circle when parenthood strikes. 🙂
