How To Wear Living Coral

Hey, hey! Long time no see!! If you noticed, the blog has been awfully quite the past month. My husband and I spent 3 weeks in Asia and have honestly just enjoyed being back home with family and friends. The last month off was much needed, but I am so happy to be back.

Each year, Pantone declares it’s color of the year. Some years this color is easier to wear than others. If the winter blues have you down, this year’s color of the year will be sure to perk your closet up. Living Coral was named as 2019’s star color. The pinky-orangey shade is said to add a bit of tranquility and warmth to our crazy fast paced world. If you are hesitant to reach for such a bold color here are a few ways you can incorporate it into your wardrobe.

Coral is generally easier to wear than straight pink or orange. It compliments most skin tones and can easily be paired with neutral colors. Fun colors such as a vibrant blue or bold fuchsia are sure to add a pop to your look. Another color combination that works with coral is pairing it with a neighbor color such as a light pink. If neutral colors are a bit boring to you, go ahead and add a pattern to the mix. Stripes or a bold leopard print pair well with this gorgeous hue.

If you are still not convinced of the beauty of living coral, it is one color that will work for every season. Of course, white and coral are go to options for spring and summer but brown and black are equally as good an option for the colder months. This non-neutral color will literally carry you throughout 2019. Who is ready to try it?!

If you naturally gravitate towards a neutral closet, you can easily incorporate this coral hue into your accessory choices, think shoes, purses, sun glasses, and even makeup. As the months warm up, this year’s color just might become your favorite. How are you going to incorporate Living Color to your closet?
