Happy Monday guys! I could not be more excited about Easter this coming weekend. It seems like every holiday is more fun with kids. This year, George actually gets the whole idea about Easter. He is anxiously awaiting his Easter basket and the egg hunt this weekend. More importantly, as we have been reading through his little children’s Bible he has picked up more themes than I thought. Looking at my cross necklace the other night, he said: “mom Jesus died on the cross.” I was actually shocked he remembered and it brought tears to my eyes. It is so amazing to see how their little minds absorb everything we tell them.
Today I am so excited to break out my first jumpsuit of the season. This Morning Lavender stripe jumpsuit is my springtime favorite. It was quite windy and cold on the day we took these pictures so I didn’t get to snap any without the jacket. The back is a little more open and I feel like it dresses it up and makes it perfect for any upcoming graduations or parties you have planned this spring. This stripe jumpsuit is also perfect as we head into summer soon.
One item that I have actually never had in my closet was a denim jacket. I know, right?! How is that even possible. I did have a blazer version of a denim jacket but not a traditional one. I have already worn this Old Navy one countless times since I bought it a few weeks ago. Do yourself a favor, if you do not have a denim jacket, snag one ASAP! Thanks so much for stopping by!
